Circular Packaging
Our Goal: By 2025, 100% of our product will be in packaging that is returnable, recyclable or made from majority recycled content.
Responsibility for our product goes far beyond the last sip. We’re constantly looking for ways to increase the rate of return for returnable packaging, the recycled content in our packaging, as well as increase recycling rates around the city and country at large through the enhancing of the local recycling value chain and educating consumers on the importance of recycling.
Our Circular Packaging Initiatives
Manja Pamodzi Recycling Initiative
In 2015, we launched an initiative to answer to the visible challenge of post-consumer packaging waste and Extended Producer Responsibility. The Manja Pamodzi “Hands Together” initiative is an incentivised community-based initiative that is helping clean up post-consumer packaging waste thereby improving sanitation and hygiene and improving community livelihoods. In August 2018, the initiative was established as separate legal entity – Manja Pamodzi Foundation Limited – which is open to further collaboration from public and private stakeholders.
